§ 6.1. Officers to hold over until successors appointed and qualified.

Whenever under the provisions of this charter any officer of the city or member of any board or commission is elected or appointed for a fixed term, except the mayor and vice-mayor, such officer or member shall continue to hold office until his successor is appointed and qualified.
