§ 6-11. Inspection of subdivision improvements.

Latest version.
  • The city manager shall appoint such person or persons as he may deem necessary to properly inspect the installation of the various subdivision improvements to ascertain that the same strictly correspond with the approved subdivision plat and the various ordinances of the city. The failure of said inspector to reject or condemn improper materials and workmanship shall not prevent the city manager from rejecting materials and workmanship found defective at any time prior to the final acceptance of the completed subdivision improvements, nor shall it be considered as a waiver of any defects which may be discovered later; or as preventing the city to pursue legal action against the subdivider for the completion of said subdivision improvements. If the specifications, laws, ordinances or any other authority require any of the work related to the subdivision improvements to be specifically tested or approved, the subdivider shall give the inspector timely notice of its readiness.
