§ 2-36. Townhouse.

A dwelling unit for single-family occupancy, containing one (1) but not more than three (3) stories, attached by one (1) or more vertical party wall extending to the roof sheathing without passageway opening to one (1) or more additional dwelling units. Lots, utilities, and other improvements shall be designed to permit individual and separate ownership of such lots and dwelling units. Each dwelling unit shall be served by its individual exterior entrance door or doors or stairways.
